The official site of the Pretty derby Uma Musume franchise announced on Tuesday that Uma Yuruthe franchiseThe new animated short from , will debut on October 16 at 21:00 JST on Youtube. The first three episodes will air simultaneously, and future episodes will air weekly at 9:00 p.m. on Sundays.
The cast of new and returning characters includes:
Seiya Miyajima (Umayon) directs the series and designs the characters of Films for scooters. Tetsuya Kobari is the script director, and Seiga Kajisaki is the script supervisor. Yoko Yonaiyama (The Bride of the Ancient Magus) handles series composition. Seiichir® Mochizuki and Yumi Suzumori (Komi can’t communicate) write the screenplay. Minami Kiyonaga is the character design supervisor. Masanori Yamaguchi (Sweetness & Lightning) is the artistic director, and Tasuku Ozu is the director of photography. Tetsuya Uchida (Umayon) produces the music. Naofumi Jinbo (Pucchimiku D4DJ Small Mix) is the sound director. Takuma Akitsu is the content director.
The Pretty derby Uma Musume game launched in February 2021 for iOS and Android. The game was originally scheduled for release in Winter 2018 and was delayed in order to improve the quality of the game. The game was released on PC via DMM Games in March 2021.
The concept of the game starts with Uma Musume (Horse Girls), girls with excellent racing abilities who aim to become top idols and participate in the national sports entertainment show “Twinkle Series”. The players act as both teachers and coaches for the girls at Nihon Uma Musume Training Center Gakuen (Japan Horse Girls Training Center Academy) and help them debut.
The first episode of 13 Pretty derby Uma Musume the TV cartoon season premiered in April 2018. Crunchyroll aired the series as it aired in Japan. An anime “BNW no Chikai” (BNW’s oath) came with the Pretty derby Uma Musume TV anime’s fourth Blu-ray Disc volume as of December 2018.
The second season of the main Pretty derby Uma Musume TV anime premiered in January 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
The Pretty derby Uma Musume franchisethe spin-off manga series Umayon also inspired his own TV anime which premiered in July 2020 and ended in September 2020.
A special anime commemorating the game’s first anniversary debuted online in February.
