2. Overlord (Season 4)

Overlord is a big name in the dark fantasy category. This is the reason why fans are eagerly waiting for the release of season 4. An office worker named Yggdrasil logs into an online game that shuts down one day. But Msomonga decides not to log out, and soon he realizes he has entered another reality alongside his guild.

3. Class of the Elite (Season 2)

If you never stop consuming more and more psychological thriller shows, add Classroom of the Elite to your watchlist. 4. Made in Abyss (Season 2)

Titled Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, the show’s second season was announced in May 2021. Kinema Citrus is the studio behind the upcoming anime, also known for other works like Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, The Rising of the Shield Hero, Black Bullet and other famous series. With an 8.3 rating on IMDB, it’s one of the best sci-fi and dark fantasy shows. Made in Abyss is about Riko, an orphan who goes on a journey with her robot in search of her lost mother.

5. My stepmom’s daughter is my ex

The acclaimed romantic comedy manga is finally getting an anime adaptation in July. My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex manga started in 2019 and is currently running on its fourth volume. Although it’s fairly new, it’s more renowned than most long-running romantic comedy manga. Mizuto and Yume were a couple in middle school but used their graduation as an excuse to get rid of each other. But fate brings them together again in the weirdest way possible after their parents announce their marriage, making them half-siblings.

6. House of Shadows (Season 2)

Cloverwork recently gave us one of the best anime of the year, Spy X Family, and now it’s coming back with another great series coming out in July. If you’ve seen the Shadows House season 2 trailer, you know how great the upcoming season is. This supernatural and gothic anime is set in a dark mansion that houses the Living Dolls. Emilico is one of those dolls who, together with her mistress Kate, tries to learn more about themselves and the dark secrets of the mysterious house.

7. Isekai Ojisan

Recently announced in Netflix Geeked Week, Isekai Ojisan, better known as My Uncle From Another World, is a Japanese manga written by Hotondoshindeiru. Shigeki Kawai is directing the new series with studio AtelierPontdarc taking over the animation work. The story of the upcoming anime is simple. After waking up from a coma after 17 years, Takafumi’s uncle returns with magical powers. He’s struggling to survive in the present time, so Takafumi helps his uncle adjust to the new world.

8. The devil is part-time! (Season 2)

After the huge success of the first season, the sequel of the show was greenlit in March 2021. And now, we will finally get season 2 of the series in July. Studio White Fox hosted the first season of Devil is a Part-Timer!, but its sequel is being picked up by Studio Hz. Can you imagine Satan working in a burger joint? Well, that’s what this show is all about. Satan finds himself in modern Japan, but he doesn’t have his magic to go back. To survive, he starts working in a hamburger restaurant.
