Tomb Raider animated series in development for Netflix; Takes place after Shadow Of The Tomb Raider

As part of today’s myriad news for the Grave robber series celebrating its 25th anniversary, a new animated series has been announced in development for Netflix. This anime takes place after the events of the Survivor Trilogy; Grave robber (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider (2015), and Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018). Additionally, throughout this anime, Lara will take more vital steps to becoming the literal “Tomb Raider” than her fate predicts.

Powerhouse Animation is the originator of this series, and they are known for their work on several projects such as Castlevania, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and Blood of Zeus. Legendary Television is also supporting the project.

Hayley Atwell will play Lara Croft, Allen Maldonado will voice Zip and Earl Baylon will reprise his role as Jonah Maiava.

More information on this series will be delivered in the near future. For example, the name of the anime has not even been provided yet, nor any exit window expected.

If you missed it, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will release for Nintendo Switch in 2022. Unfortunately, no specific release date or window has been provided for these versions either.
